A citizen’s advocacy group rooted in the ideal that while mankind is inseparable from Earth’s biosphere, we must use the lowest-aggregate-resources possible and affect the least amount of damage to Earth’s living habitats.
We believe keeping legendary natural habitats intact as much as possible, while helping all humans to reach a clean and prosperous life through energy abundance.
We believe using an exponentially denser energy source with a fully contained by-product, is the best way to leave the least damaging footprint on our environment while providing the life-giving resource – energy.
We support ‘The Navigating Nuclear’ program by Discovery Education to reaches as many Elementary and High School Teachers; material that meets Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and give the next generation a better understanding of the technology.
HFNP is lobbing and facilitating the attainment of an Early Site Permit (ESP) from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in New Mexico for Advanced Nuclear. We are reaching out to utility companies and having meaningful discussions regarding working in partnership with Los Alamos National Lab. HFNP is also in contact with Molten Salt nuclear reactor developers to complete the team for attaining the ESP.
Habitat for NucPower believes that it takes a complete social, business, and educational ‘habitat’ to foster this positive view of both technology and ‘least damage’ to the natural world. For that reason the team at HFNP is focused on business and community development of atomic force capture technology.
HFNP is working to create public awareness through articles in local newspapers, blogs and active social media advpcacy. Additionally, HFNP sponsors public events with guests from universities, industry and nuclear environmental advocates to support a public/private habitat for nuclear energy.
